• Climate Action

    Orec is taking bold steps toward a decarbonized society by actively harnessing renewable energy. A solar power system installed on the roof of our headquarters generated approximately 330,000 kWh in fiscal year 2024, covering about 6% of the factory’s total electricity use and reducing CO₂ emissions by roughly 167 tons annually. Moving forward, we will continue to improve energy efficiency and expand renewable energy adoption, strengthening our response to climate change. We see climate action not only as a responsibility but as an opportunity to create a more sustainable future. With unwavering determination, Orec will accelerate its efforts to reduce environmental impact, inspiring change beyond our company and passing on a thriving planet to the next generation.

  • Promoting Sustainability

    Sustainability grows from everyday actions. Across the Orec Group, we are united in our commitment to energy conservation. From optimizing air conditioning settings and eliminating unnecessary lighting to introducing energy-efficient equipment, we integrate sustainable practices into our daily operations. All of our factories are now equipped with LED lighting, further reducing energy use and emissions. To deepen awareness, we also provide environmental education that empowers every employee to take action. We believe that these steady, everyday efforts are the foundation of a truly sustainable society. With this conviction, Orec will continue to strengthen its initiatives, proving that small actions, multiplied across an organization, can drive lasting change for the world.

  • Biodiversity conservation and restoration

    We see biodiversity as the foundation of a thriving planet, and we are committed to protecting it while also reducing CO₂ emissions. One way we put this into practice is through tree-planting volunteer programs overseas. In Thailand, our employee volunteers have joined local forest restoration projects, planting mangroves and native species to help restore ecosystems. These efforts not only support the local environment, but also give our people the chance to engage directly with global environmental challenges. By continuing activities like these, we aim to contribute to a sustainable society where people and nature live in balance.

    Product reliability and safety form the cornerstone of Orec’s business. Since obtaining ISO 9001 certification for quality management in January 1999, we have maintained a robust system that ensures compliance with legal standards and customer requirements at every stage, from design and manufacturing to sales. By regularly reviewing the effectiveness of our quality management system and pursuing continuous improvement, we are committed to delivering products that customers can use with complete confidence.

  • Digital Transformation

    Digital technology is transforming the way we work and create value. In 2023, we set up a company-wide Digital Transformation Promotion Office to lead initiatives such as smarter use of data, digitalization of business processes, and the step-by-step introduction of AI and IoT. These efforts go beyond efficiency, laying the foundation for new solutions that can ultimately support farmers, contractors, and local communities. Looking ahead, we will keep driving this transformation through teamwork across departments, creating new value and helping solve social challenges through practical digital innovation.
